Dell announced the Vostro 3000 series small business notebooks today, including the 13-inch Vostro 3350, 14-inch Vostro 3450, 15-inch Vostro 3550and 17-inch monster medium-sized Vostro 3750. Some of the models were tested by Dell to provide up to 12 hours after disconnected battery power.

The series is built with second generation Intel Core processors in the series and is the first Dell portable small-business notebooks to feature SRS Premium Voice Pro, a higher performance voice and audio feature. Also included is the built-in HD webcam. The laptops have an aluminium finish and will be available in silver, red, bronze.

3000 notebooks also include USB 3.0 ports, Bluetooth 3.0 tech, switchable graphics, a fingerprint reader and Trend Micro security services for increased security in the business class.

Dell Vostro 3000 series notebooks will reach the United States and Dell's online store on March 22.
